Congratulations for winning the September Homebyme Project of the month go to Archiconceptstore! Their home, VILLA TOIT PLAT, has a huge, friendly terrace with plenty of spots in the sun for you to relax and recharge. The interior is also filled with light, since the primary goal of the design is to provide a maximum of space and to make it all visible using lots of windows, sliders and interior sliding window doors. Areas like the garage and even the utility closet aren’t hidden away, but are visible from inside the house to expand the visual openness even further. An industrial feeling is intentionally brought to mind by the details.
Only one project is the winner of the Project of the month contest – but we recognize the top five finalists here in order to showcase even more of your fantastic projects. Each of these projects is worth taking a look at. When you do visit them, be sure to click on the MEDIA tab to also see the images that they’ve created. They often include more great realistic renders and floor plans. Click on the LIKE button to let the creator know that you’ve enjoyed their efforts. Or, go a little crazy and leave a comment or question! They’ll receive an email with your thoughts and can respond. Have fun!
Sunshine makes us happy! It also makes our interior spaces sparkle and feel more energetic too. Make your spaces brighter by carefully planning your window and glass door positions and sizes in new construction and in renovations be ready to move a window or, even better, add more. Use window treatments that allow you to adjust the amount and direction of light coming in for more flexibility. Glossy surfaces add dramatic reflections and light neutral wall colors can add the appearance of more space as well as reflect the incoming light. Use spots of bright colors on your furnishings or a smaller wall to accent the more subtle base theme.
Take a good look at these Homebyme projects and we’re sure you’ll find something new to try. It’s easy to be happy in a sunny space!
