We know that it’s not as easy to change your sofa as your shoes, but if it was why wouldn’t you want to adapt your decoration to match the latest trends of each season.

Doing so is a great way to sort out your decor just for the sake of clarity. Spring cleaning isn’t enough. Cupboards and drawers aren’t the only elements you need to empty. We can simply get rid of what we don’t need. A lamp, a carpet or a decorating objects that we’d like to replace by something more uptodate. As in fashion, trends continually arise for decor. Some trends fade fast though, so if you want to invest in new furniture, ensure that it’s something you will continue to be happy with.

1 . Winter

It’s the perfect season to buy an animal skin rug for your armchair. You can dare to buy fake fur : plaid, cushion or for a pouf. Final touch: a scented Christmas candle for a lovely atmosphere.

2 . Spring

It’s time for spring cleaning, time to give a fresh look to your home! You can let the light enter and and put your plants out on the balcony. And to keep you aware of the fact that summer is approaching, display your holidays pictures. It’s also a great time to find the perfect accessory: a cushion with a trendy color.

3 . Summer

It’s the best time to refine your decoration. The use of flowers in a vase or as a pattern is perfect for this season.

4 . Fall

Get ready for the back-to-school period. It’s the perfect time to tidy up your home for the New Year. Find a new desk lamp and some nice notebooks.

5 . Decoration stash

As for Christmas, don’t forget to keep small items to decorate your home for each season. You’ll be happy to change your decoration every couple of months.
