The July project of the month winner is virginie-h and her New appartement paris. Virginie overcame an oddly shaped set of rooms to work with and created this wonderful one bedroom apartment. The apartment’s carefully crafted design works well due to the open planning and a practical use of space both horizontally and vertically. The ceiling lamp is a graceful addition that also gives a sense of playfulness to the living room.
Spring is a great time of year with better weather and a profusion of color, especially greens accented with the blossoms of trees and flowers. To give this kitchen that spring feeling a fresh palette of greens and rich cream is used, all touched with dashes of bright color. A renovation combined two smaller rooms into this one large open space, so there’s plenty of room to cook and entertain.
We’re all creating our designs in different combinations of 2D and 3D. Our finished goal is a 3D room/apartment/home that we love! When we share the results of our designs with others, the presentation must be carefully designed too. We need to tell a visual story that helps us showcase and make our designs easy to understand. Now is the time to start thinking like a photographer. Light, perspective, composition and countless other things have to be considered. HQ images help us tell a story that looks like it’s already done!
Background images make your Homebyme HQ images look even more real. In HQ images what you see in the windows and reflected on your room furnishings is provided by a Background image that you select during the setup process. As you work on your projects keep in mind that windows and patio doors are great for looking out, but they’re also important sources of light and reflections inside.
