Anigbl has won the August Homebyme project of the month with her beautiful project Home and because of her imaginative approach to exploring multiple options. We all spend much of our best time at home relaxing in the living and dining rooms. Anigbl has put a special effort into making those two rooms fit her needs. A single large open space is a great start. Couches make a comfortable grouping for socializing and enjoying TV.
When you love to entertain, you’ll go the extra mile to have plenty of room for big gatherings of visitors. This dramatic dining and entertainment area is in the center of a large home and it easily provides great casual snacking and relaxed dining both indoors and out for 10 or more guests. Come on over and and visit!
The July project of the month winner is virginie-h and her New appartement paris. Virginie overcame an oddly shaped set of rooms to work with and created this wonderful one bedroom apartment. The apartment’s carefully crafted design works well due to the open planning and a practical use of space both horizontally and vertically. The ceiling lamp is a graceful addition that also gives a sense of playfulness to the living room.
Spring is a great time of year with better weather and a profusion of color, especially greens accented with the blossoms of trees and flowers. To give this kitchen that spring feeling a fresh palette of greens and rich cream is used, all touched with dashes of bright color. A renovation combined two smaller rooms into this one large open space, so there’s plenty of room to cook and entertain.
