Salamanca-22-c, created by Reformasareacentro, is the winner of the the Homebyme December project of the month! Congratulations! The entire home has slightly taller walls (an added 15 cm / 6 in) that give it an elegant feeling and keep the large rooms in proportion. The wall of plants gets plenty of natural light as does the rest of the house. Colors and materials are kept neutral so that the dashes of color and excellent use of contrast can really be appreciated. Let’s take a look around.

It’s great to see that this Homebyme project was started using an imported floor plan. That considerably increases the speed of getting to the fun parts. It looks like there are plans in this home to add another big room between living room and the bedroom wing. We’ll start our visit by entering the kitchen to the left of the blue dot.
The kitchen is huge and definitely well lighted by brilliant natural light from the wall of sliders. The shelves full of luscious plants add a personal touch and, of course, they love the light. What a great place to have the round table and chairs for a leisurely coffee or espresso or a meal while basking in the sun.
Looking left we see the large island that separates the kitchen from the dining room and adds another dining option with three counter stools on the far side.
Warm wood accents add a classic touch that welcomes diners in a slightly more formal way. There’s even a separate reading nook with a comfortable lounger and plenty of shelves and nooks for books. It also takes advantage of more natural lighting from the big windows.
As we look toward the living room we can see the large architectural forms and low cabinets that act to define both rooms.
An expansive living room is richly appointed with contemporary couches and seating. More natural light keeps the room bright and relaxing.
A neutral color palette helps the chairs and cushions to add pops of color that are still subtle. Black and white contrasts are done with a great touch that are in perfect proportion to the whole room’s elegance.
The high ceilings are evident here, being emphasized by the prominent columns. A natural pathway has been created from one wing of the house to the other by carefully positioning the rug lengthwise.
The bedroom wing is on the other side of the undeveloped space and currently has a long hallway with the rooms all on the right. This wing includes two bathrooms, two bedrooms and an office with a separate entry at the end.
The bathrooms are sleek and functional. Using different tile sizes help to visually make the spaces larger.
A big master bedroom has a wall of storage that also helps keep the bedroom quiet. The door close to the windows leads to the master bath.
The master bath continues the theme of simple, clean functionality.
A second bedroom provides sleeping, storage and reading space in a more compact area. The rug adds a wonderful touch of color.
The home office features plenty of room to work and an energizing red chair. A sweeping view can be enjoyed in moments of rest.
The big question remains “What will the space between the living room and the bedroom wing be used for?” A patio? Maybe a big game room for casual entertainment? We’ll have to check back later to find out!
Please remember that every project creator has the option to continue developing any of their projects. When you go to a linked project it may be different than at the time the images above were created. Creativity continues, regardless of the clock!
Now it’s your turn!
